Kirill "XANT3R" Kononov is a Russian esports player who, despite his young age, has an impressive track record in Counter-Strike 2. He has spent over five years on the pro scene. During this time, he participated in more than 100 tournaments, played around 300 matches, and earned about $80,000 in prize money.

Kirill took his first steps in esports in April 2020 when he joined the lesser-known team SpinAndGo Academy. However, he did not achieve notable success with this lineup. Kononov didn’t get discouraged and continued his path. By the end of the year, he played for BlinkDagger, Ethereal, and Es4x, but without much success.

In February 2021, Kononov joined IN.GAME and played with them until July. He performed quite well in the team, but that was still not enough to secure his first awards, which were postponed again. He tried to change this by joining other teams. First, he played for Ex-IN.GAME, then moved to Trident Clan and Anime Submarine, but these attempts also ended without success.

Kirill "XANT3R" Kononov won his first career awards after joining Insilio. With them, he earned bronze medals at European Pro League Season 1, placed 4th at Xrusteam Open Cup and ESEA Season 44: Advanced Division - Europe, took 3-4th place at Buster CS2 League, won silver at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Autumn 2023 #4, and became champion at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Winter 2023 #4, FASTCUP Elite Cup #1, FASTCUP World Cup, and Winline Insight Season 4.

After a series of successful performances, Kirill decided to leave the team at the end of December 2023. Early in 2024, he joined Nemiga Gaming. This period marks the most successful phase of his career so far. With Nemiga, he won championship titles at RES European Series #2, #3, #5, HellCup #10, RES Regional Champions, as well as silver medals at FASTCUP: CSGORUN Cup Season 1, ESL Challenger League Season 48: Europe, and HellCup #11, along with bronze medals at ESEA Season 48: Advanced Division - Europe.

In addition, he earned prize placements at other important tournaments, such as 9-12th at Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2024, 17-19th at ESL Pro League Season 21, 3-4th at YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025: Closed Qualifier and CCT Season 3 European Series #1, 9-10th at ESL Challenger League Season 49: Europe, and 7-8th at YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025.

Currently, Kirill "XANT3R" Kononov continues to compete as an AWPer in the main roster of Nemiga Gaming.
