Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas is one of the legends of both Polish and global esports. He represented the Counter-Strike discipline. TaZ began his career back in 2003 and has since played over 1150 matches, earning around $600,000 in prize money.

At the start of his journey, he participated in low-tier tournaments as part of lesser-known Polish mix teams. Nevertheless, he managed to win his first titles early on, including gold at SSV Lehnitz LAN, Invex Euro Cyber Cup, Samsung Euro Championship 2005, WSVG 2006: London, World Cyber Games 2006, Intel Extreme Masters I, ESWC 2007, and Heyah Logitech Cybersport 2007 Pro Finals. All of these achievements came under the Team Pentagram banner.

In early 2008, he left the team and joined Meet Your Makers, with whom he won DreamHack Summer 2008, ESWC 2008, and finished as runner-up at Intel Extreme Masters III. TaZ then signed with Wicked eSports, where he continued his success, helping the team win DTS-Cup 2009 and take bronze at KODE5 2009.

From October 2009 to December 2011, Wojtas played for several different teams. Notable achievements during this time include winning the Samsung Euro Championship 2011 with Frag eXecutors and securing gold at the World Cyber Games 2009 with AGAiN.

At the end of 2011, he signed with ESC Gaming, where he amassed numerous titles, most notably gold medals at World Cyber Games 2011, Intel Extreme Masters VI, and the DISTRICT Prague Challenge.

Afterward, the Polish player had a short stint with Universal Soldiers before moving to Virtus.pro in February 2014, where he played until January 2018. During this period, he earned titles at ESL Major Series One Katowice 2014, ESEA Season 18: Global Invite Division, CEVO Season 7 Professional, ESL ESEA Pro League Invitational, CEVO Season 8 Professional, StarLadder i-League Invitational #1, ELEAGUE Season 1, DreamHack Open Bucharest 2016, DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017, and Adrenaline Cyber League 2017. He also earned silver at ESL One: New York 2016, EPICENTER 2016, ELEAGUE Major Atlanta 2017, EPICENTER 2017, and StarLadder i-League Invitational #2, bronze at World Electronic Sports Games 2016, and 3-4th place at the PGL Major Kraków 2017.

After Virtus.pro, TaZ joined devils.one, with whom he won ESL Mistrzostwa Polski - Summer 2018 and DreamHack Open Montreal 2018, and earned silver at ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018 and ESEA Season 29: Global Challenge.

From February 2019 to January 2020, he played for ARCY, winning the ESL Mistrzostwa Polski - Spring 2019. He later joined HONORIS, but aside from winning ESL Mistrzostwa Polski: Spring 2021, he did not achieve major success. TaZ played for HONORIS until March 2023, after which he decided to pause his career.

In January 2024, he returned to the professional scene—not as a player, but as the head coach of G2 Esports. As a coach, he has also found success, guiding the team to over 20 awards. Major highlights include 3-4th place at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, silver medals at Esports World Cup 2024 and PGL Bucharest 2025, and championships at Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2024, BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, and BLAST Premier: World Final 2024.
