Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski entered the professional Counter-Strike scene in 2010. Initially competing in CS 1.6, he transitioned to CS:GO in 2013. Over the years, he played for teams such as GF-Gaming, ESC Gaming, and Universal Soldiers. In early 2014, he joined Virtus.pro.

With his new team, Janusz was able to fully showcase his potential. Together, they won gold medals at tournaments like:

  • ESL Major Series One Katowice 2014,
  • ESL ESEA Pro League Invitational,
  • ELEAGUE Season 1,
  • DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017.

Additionally, he became a finalist at EPICENTER 2017.

In the summer of 2018, Pogorzelski received an offer from mousesports, which he accepted. Shortly after, he helped the team win the ESL One: New York 2018 championship. However, his time with the squad was short-lived, and by October 2018, he was placed on inactive status. That didn't last long, though—by December 2018, he was invited to return to Virtus.pro. Snax accepted the offer, but this time, he couldn’t replicate his past success.

By late 2019, Janusz once again stepped away from competition. However, in April 2020, he made a comeback, joining Illuminar Gaming. Despite his efforts, he didn’t achieve any major victories with the team. Seeking a change, he switched to Anonymo Esports in January 2021, where he secured:

  • 1st-2nd place at DreamHack Open January 2021: European Open Qualifier,
  • 1st-2nd place at ESL Mistrzostwa Polski: Spring 2021 - Closed Qualifier,
  • Gold at Gdańsk Games 2021.

From December 2021 to December 2022, Snax played for multiple teams, including MONKEsports, Fantastyczna Piątka, Yeet, FLET, and Ex-Team Finest, but didn’t achieve significant success. Despite this, in January 2023, he was signed by Let Us Cook, where he:

  • Won Liga Streamerów Showdown 2023,
  • Won Polska Liga Esportowa Superpuchar 2023: Closed Qualifier,
  • Placed 1st-2nd at ESL Mistrzostwa Polski Spring 2023: Closed Qualifier.

In August 2023, Janusz joined Pompa, where he spent less than a month but still managed to win Polska Liga Esportowa Superpuchar 2023. Shortly after, he transitioned to GamerLegion, finishing 2nd at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR Decider with the team.

Since July 2024, Janusz has been competing under the G2 Esports banner. With G2, he has:

  • Won BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024,
  • Won BLAST Premier: World Final 2024,
  • Secured Silver at Esports World Cup 2024,
  • Placed 1st-4th at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024,
  • Earned Bronze at BLAST Premier World Leaderboard 2024.

Beyond team achievements, Janusz has also secured individual accolades. In 2014, he was ranked 4th on HLTV’s Best Players list, a feat he repeated in 2015. In 2016, he placed 5th in the ranking.
