Alexey “Qikert” Golubev entered professional esports in 2017. At the beginning of his Counter-Strike career, he was part of the LoG mix team. Despite the team's low profile, he managed to secure gold medals at the Stream.me Gauntlet - CIS vs EU #8 tournament. Later that year, Alexey, together with his teammates, was invited to join AVANGAR.
In the new organization, Alexey continued to shine. He won gold at the CIS Minor Championship - Boston 2018, reached the finals at Adrenaline Cyber League 2018, and also claimed gold at MSI Gaming Arena 2018 and Bucharest Gaming Week Invitational.
2019 turned out to be quite successful for the esports player. He became the champion at the CIS Minor Championship - Katowice 2019 and DreamHack Open Rio de Janeiro 2019, took silver at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, and claimed gold at BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019. During this time, Golubev was one of the top players on the team, which caught the attention of Virtus.pro, and he signed with them in late 2019.
With the new team, he continued his successful run. He won gold at BLAST Premier CIS Cup, Intel Extreme Masters XV - New York Online: CIS, and DreamHack Open December 2020. He also secured 1-2 place at Flashpoint Season 2: Closed Qualifier and took silver at Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship and EPIC CIS League Spring 2021.
In April 2022, Alexey received an offer from Outsiders and accepted it. During his 11 months with the team, Qikert won gold at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022.
Afterward, Golubev returned to Virtus.pro. The comeback was short-lived, lasting only a couple of months, but during that time, the esports player added more trophies to his collection, winning gold at ESL Challenger Katowice 2023, FiReLEAGUE Battle 2023, and CCT Season 1 Online Finals #2.
Alexey then moved to Into The Breach, but without significant achievements. His only medal was silver at the RES Western European Masters: Fall 2023 tournament. Since January 2024, Golubev has been playing for the PARIVISION team. However, he has yet to achieve notable results with the team. The only awards in his collection from this period are silver at CCT Season 2 European Series #7 and bronze at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: European Qualifier A.
