The first wave of popularity came to NiKo in 2015 when he signed a contract with iNation and showcased a remarkable professional level of play. This performance caught the attention of Mousesports, with whom he signed a contract in the spring of the same year.
In February 2017, NiKo changed teams once again, becoming a player for FaZe Clan. His first major success was achieved at StarLadder StarSeries Season 3, but a quiet period followed, with nearly six months of no victories. The team struggled to qualify for the Esports Championship Series Season 3, leading to significant roster changes. Two new players joined, which helped FaZe Clan return to its winning ways.
With NiKo, FaZe Clan secured victories at ESL One: New York 2017 and ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017. By the end of the year, they also claimed the title at Esports Championship Series Season 4. However, 2018 started with setbacks: the team lost the final at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 and had poor showings at Intel Extreme Masters XIII and ESL One: Belo Horizonte 2018. Things improved in the fall, with NiKo helping FaZe Clan secure a victory at EPICENTER 2018 in Moscow. In 2019, he won BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, and in 2020, the team earned a major victory by taking gold at IEM New York 2020 Online (European Division).
Afterward, NiKo ended his tenure with FaZe Clan and signed with G2 Esports. With G2, he won numerous titles, including Blast Premier World Final 2022, IEM Katowice 2023, IEM Cologne 2023, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, and IEM Dallas 2024, while also earning second place at IEM Katowice 2022.
After lengthy discussions, in January 2025, NiKo joined Falcons.
