Gleb “gr1ks” Gazin (born October 24, 2005) is a Belarusian CS2 professional and the current AWPer for BIG. He has earned about $21,771 in prize money so far, which is a solid start for a player still early in his career.
gr1ks first played in smaller Belarusian teams in 2022 (including Zorka) and then joined Nemiga’s academy system. He has been open about that stage: he struggled, was removed from the academy lineup, and even stopped playing seriously for more than a year. He also tried out for Team Spirit Academy but was told his level was too low at the time. In interviews, he says he started practicing seriously again in late 2023, using that setback as motivation to improve.
His big step forward came on May 29, 2024, when Aurora Young Blud announced him as their new sniper. Over the next months he progressed through the same organization into its main roster. When that core later played under the Astrum name, they won YaLLa Compass Contenders 1 in May 2025. In that event, gr1ks finished as Astrum’s highest-rated player, showing he could deliver impact in close, high-pressure matches.
In June 2025, HEROIC signed him as a young AWP talent. After a short run (including IEM Cologne 2025), he spent time on the bench, briefly played on loan for GUN5, and then joined BIG on October 10, 2025—one of the reasons the team switched back to English communication.
For other CS2 players, gr1ks is a clear example of an aggressive AWPer. He has said he has always preferred the AWP and likes taking the first fights to create space for his team. Across his pro career he has far more sniper kills than rifle kills, and his opening kill ratio is strong; when he gets the first pick, his teams win about 76% of those rounds. In recent form he posted a 1.31 rating over 25 maps, with very high “sniping” and “clutching” scores—numbers that match his risk-taking style.
