Cai “CYPHER” Watson is a professional esports player known to all Counter-Strike fans. He began his career in April 2018. Initially, Cai played for a series of lesser-known mixes, and unsurprisingly, he didn’t achieve significant results with them.
His first successes came in early 2020, when in February he signed with CeX. After joining the new team, he won silver medals at the ESL Premiership Spring 2020 tournament and placed 4th in the PLAYER1 Invitational Cup, as well as securing 1st-2nd place at ESEA Season 34: Premier Relegation - Europe: Climber Cup.
In September 2020, Watson was invited to join the Cream Real Betis team, which turned out to be a mistake. After more than two months of playing with this squad, Cai did not win any awards. As a result, he decided to leave. At the beginning of 2021, the player was inactive but played for Zaran's Jeans in the ESEA Season 36: Advanced Division - Europe tournament in March before joining Aura Esports.
With the British team, the esports player achieved his first major successes, winning gold at the UKCS Hub Cash Cup: Spring 2021 and Rix.GG UKCS Cup May. However, Cai was unable to secure a spot in the main roster, which led to him moving to Into The Breach in July 2021, where he showed solid gameplay.
During his time with the team, he won silver medals at ESEA Season 37: Open Division - Europe, ESL Premiership: Autumn 2021, ESL Premiership Spring 2022, Monsters Reloaded 2022: GCC Finals, and bronze at ESEA Season 39: Advanced Division - Europe, ESEA Season 39: Premier Relegation - Europe, and BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: European RMR A. In addition, with Into The Breach, he became a champion at tournaments such as ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Autumn 2021 #5, Hydra Cup #3, Insomnia 68, UKIC Invitational Spring 2022, ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Summer 2022 #2, Assembly Summer 2022, and ESL Premiership Spring 2023.
In August 2023, Cai “CYPHER” Watson made a change and moved to TSM, where he won gold at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Autumn 2023 #3 and earned bronze at ESEA Season 47: Advanced Division - Europe.
In January 2024, the esports player joined BLEED Esports. With the organization, he won silver at RES European Series #1, RES European Series #2, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024, and secured the championship title at the Thunderpick World Championship 2024: European Series #1.
From February 2025 to the present, Cai “CYPHER” Watson represents BC.Game Esports. With the team, he won silver at CCT Season 2 European Series #18 and gold at CCT Season 2 European Series #19, as well as qualified for Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2025: European Open Qualifier.
