Team SAW claimed its first international LAN trophy at ESL Challenger Katowice

SAW emerged as the champions of ESL Challenger Katowice, defeating B8 with a clean 2:0 in the grand final, securing solid victories on Ancient (13:3) and Nuke (13:5). This championship marked the team's first international LAN trophy and was the debut offline event for their new member, Andre 'Ag1l' Gil.

The Ukrainian team had no real chance in this series, as Ricardo 'roman' Oliveira showcased outstanding form, leading SAW to the finals. But this victory wasn’t due to a single player’s efforts — the entire SAW squad dominated B8 from the outset.

In the final match, SAW’s confidence proved to be a decisive factor. Their stellar performance on Ancient, where they led 11-1 on the CT side, allowed them to easily take the map, despite a valiant second-round effort by Andrii 'npl' Kukharskyi.

On the second map, Nuke, SAW allowed B8 no more than a single round win at a time on defense, establishing an 8-4 lead by the halfway point. Although B8 managed to take the pistol round, SAW quickly regained control, ending the map at 13-5.
