The teams NAVI and FaZe both lost their matches 0-2 and will now face each other in a match to stay in the tournament.
In NAVI’s first match against Astralis, Aleksib’s team struggled to play confidently, losing both maps with a score of 6-13. Despite the efforts of some players, it was clear the team wasn’t fully prepared, and numerous avoidable mistakes were made, ultimately leading to this result.
In the FaZe vs. MOUZ match, things were more complex, but MOUZ players demonstrated stronger individual decision-making and skill. After 24 rounds on the first map, Inferno—chosen by FaZe—the teams remained neck and neck, moving into overtime, where MOUZ ultimately prevailed with a 16-13 finish.
On the second map, Nuke, a fierce battle unfolded. FaZe fought back after losing the first half 5-7 on the stronger CT side and came close to pushing the game into another overtime. However, in a 2v4 situation, MOUZ player Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo, armed with only a Five-Seven pistol, showed remarkable determination by taking down three opponents, securing the map and match for his team with a score of 13-11.
