At just 18 years old, makazze has already become a core figure for NAVI Junior over the past two years, maintaining an impressive 1.19 rating that cemented his status as one of the region’s brightest young prospects.
However, the organization hasn’t revealed who exactly he’ll replace. This decision remains a mystery, especially after head coach Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy admitted following the team’s quarter-final exit at the BLAST.tv Austin Major that their slump couldn’t be pinned on any one player.
"Everyone makes mistakes and has strong moments. There isn’t a single player we can blame for our struggles," B1ad3 explained.
makazze is known for his aggressive style, boasting high Entry and Opening duel stats (87 and 89 respectively). Interestingly, he shares the same T-side roles as Mihai "iM" Ivan, hinting at possible role shifts or even a rework of the team’s structure.
At the same time, NAVI has started selling off their current academy roster. The organization stated that under the current CS ecosystem, it’s no longer feasible to keep developing the academy project under the NAVI brand.
Nonetheless, the club confirmed it isn’t abandoning its youth program and will soon begin building a new NAVI Junior lineup.
This signals a broader rebuild for NAVI: amid inconsistent results in 2025, the organization is betting on young talent while keeping fans guessing who will step aside for this rising star.
