



In his video message, jL admitted he’d lost the joy of competing and wants to take 3–6 months off, explore new things and regain motivation. “To stay at the top in tier-1, you have to sacrifice a lot — and I’m no longer ready for that,” he explained.
2024 was a dream year for the Lithuanian: NAVI won four titles, including the PGL Major in Copenhagen where jL claimed MVP, finishing the year ranked fifth in the world and winning Closer of the Year. But in 2025 the team only reached two semi-finals, and jL’s LAN rating dropped from 1.13 to 1.06.
“Thanks to everyone I’ve played with. These two years flew by, full of amazing memories. I hope to come back stronger,” jL said.
